A rolling tray gives you one clean, flat spot to grind, fill and roll, with a raised edge so nothing ends up on the table or the floor. Most of ours are RAW metal trays: light, easy to wipe down and built to last for years.

How to choose a rolling tray

  • Size: a small tray (around 11" x 7") holds a grinder, papers and enough room to roll one or two. A large tray (around 14" x 11") fits everything for a group session.
  • Material: metal is light, cheap and wipes clean. Bamboo looks great and adds storage, but keep it away from water.
  • Edges: a curved, raised lip keeps ground flower from sliding off and makes it easy to pour back into a cone or paper.

Build your setup

Questions

What size rolling tray should I get?

If you roll for yourself, a small tray is plenty and fits in a drawer. If you roll for friends or like having everything in one place, go large.

How do I clean a metal rolling tray?

Wipe it with a cloth or paper towel and a little isopropyl alcohol, then dry it. Don't soak it or put it in the dishwasher; it can damage the print.

Are RAW trays all the same quality?

Yes. The designs change, but the metal trays are built the same way, so pick the look you like.
