Electric Dab Rigs & E-Rigs
An electric dab rig, or e-rig, replaces the torch, banger and glass rig with one device. Load your concentrate, press the button, and it heats to a set temperature in seconds. Every hit comes out the same, there's no open flame, and nothing has to cool down before you can put it away.
Electric dab rigs we carry
- Puffco Peak: the smart rig that made e-rigs mainstream. A ceramic chamber, four heat settings and a glass top that works like a small water pipe.
- Puffco Peak Pro: the upgrade. A 3D chamber that heats the walls as well as the base, faster heat-up, and app control for exact temperatures.

E-rig or torch and banger?
A torch and quartz banger is cheaper to start and gives you full control, but you have to heat, wait and guess the temperature every time. An e-rig costs more up front and does that part for you: the same temperature every dab, ready in under a minute, safe to use anywhere a lighter would be a problem. What to look for
- Heat control: preset heat settings are simple; app control lets you dial in an exact temperature.
- Chamber: ceramic gives the best flavor; larger chambers like the Peak Pro 3DXL hold bigger dabs.
- Portability: the Proxy fits a pocket, the Peak and Boost EVO travel in a bag, and all of them run on a rechargeable battery.
- Upkeep: a clean chamber tastes better and lasts longer. Swab it after every session.

Questions
What is an electric dab rig?
A battery-powered device that heats concentrate to a set temperature without a torch. It combines the heating element, the chamber and the water filtration in one unit.
Is an e-rig better than a torch?
For convenience and consistency, yes: no flame, no guessing the temperature, and the same hit every time. A torch and banger costs less and some people prefer the control.
What temperature should I dab at?
Lower temperatures give more flavor and a smoother hit; higher temperatures give bigger clouds. Most people start on a low or medium setting and go up from there.
How do I clean an e-rig?
Swab the warm chamber with a dry cotton swab after each session, then with an alcohol-dipped swab once it's cool. Soak the glass top in isopropyl alcohol and salt about once a week.
