How to choose
- What you use: dry herb vaporizers and concentrate vaporizers aren't interchangeable. Pick the one made for what you have.
- Desktop or portable: desktop units like the Volcano give the most consistent vapor at home; portables trade a little of that for going anywhere.
- Heat control: more control means you can chase flavor at lower temperatures or bigger hits at higher ones.
For dry herb, an even grind matters: a grinder gives you consistent pieces that vaporize evenly. Keep your stash fresh and quiet in smell-proof bags.

Is vaping better than smoking?
Vaporizing heats material below the point where it burns, so you get vapor instead of smoke, with more flavor and much less smell.
Can I use concentrates in a dry herb vaporizer?
Not unless the maker sells a concentrate insert for it. Use a dab rig, e-rig or nectar collector for concentrates.
